Our water softeners are made with chemical resistant 10% crosslinked water softener resin which is a must for water softeners on municipal water lines. The weaker 7% and 8% water softener resins used by competitors tend to break down due the heavily chlorinated water and added ammonia in certain municipalities. Our Softeners use the heavy duty Erie Control Valve (head) which is also capable of trapping the sediment and sand.
